Go 100%!
Go 811 100%
Even one cooked meal a week makes a difference. Imagine what one cooked meal a day does! My husband and I are perfect examples. I am 100% 811, no grains(rice, breads, etc.),no starches (potatoes, etc.), no cooked food whatsoever. I follow proper food combining, proper exercise, proper sleep, proper sunshine, etc, etc. He eats one cooked vegan meal a week, when he goes out with a friend. He can not lose his excess weight-he still has high blood pressure etc, etc. Re-read the 811 book. Go 100% with everything-it makes a huge difference!
p.s.
To quote Dr. D.: "The easiest transition is the quickest transition." Or here's another good quote: "In order to kill the cooked food cravings monster you must starve him to death. Every morsel of cooked food keeps him alive." (Awesome to be Rawsome's site). Like Dragon said, every time I've slipped up even with a non-fat, unseasoned, cooked meal-it took me days to recuperate. Every slip up is a cheat of your health and tremendously slows down the good of 811. With that in mind, however, we shouldn't beat ourselves up over a slip up, because that makes it all that much harder to recuperate from it. Get back on the horse and keep riding him properly-figuratively speaking of course-I am vegan afterall.

I am actually impressed that your husband can STICK to 1 vegan cooked meal a week. I tried that...many times... and it always led to a bigger slippery slope as far as cooked food went! I agree, 100% makes all the dif.
That's what he admits to anyway. Things that make you go hummm...
BTW, I love the "I only have a kitchen..." sign :)
