Planning a Garden
This was posted by Dr. Dave Klein from Vibrance and Living Nutrition. I just had to share it.
Planning a Garden

Plant three rows of peas:
Peas of mind
Peas of heart
Peas of soul.
Plant four rows of squash:
Squash gossip
Squash indifference
Squash grumbling
Squash selfishness
Plant four rows of lettuce:
Lettuce be faithful
Lettuce be kind
Lettuce be happy
Lettuce really love one another
No garden should be without turnips:
Turnip for service when needed
Turnip to help one another
Turnip the music and dance
Water freely with patience and cultivate with love
There is much fruit in your garden because you reap what you sow
To conclude our garden We must have thyme:
Thyme for God
Thyme for fun
Thyme for rest
Thyme for ourselves

This poem made me smile :)
..and also want to be in a green growing garden!
I am currently living in Ottawa, Ontario and there is snow all around at the moment. Costa Rica must be so beautiful after a Canadian introduction to winter!
I love reading your blog and seeing your photos. Sorry I've never commented before, I really do enjoy your posts. They've actually helped inspire me to start living this way..
Sunshine and garden dreams,
K
Thank you so much Kay! Thank you for your kind comment about my blog. Although I do it mostly for myself because writing my feelings and thoughts is so cathartic and helpful-it's a true joy to know that in some small way I might be helping others too.
Also, I do love both Canada and Costa Rica, but Canadian winters are too brutal for me!
Sunshine and garden dreams for you too :)
