Another one bites the dust...
Allergy that is.
I can now eat mangoes!
I started getting severe allergies several years ago-to the point of breaking out in hives, horrible itching, swelling and even respiratory problems-I went to the emergency room on several occasions because of them. I had several allergens, but one of them was to mangoes.
I've been 811rv for almost two years now-not perfectly because I still cave into a cooked vegan meal perhaps 3-4 times a month, nonetheless I have had incredible results.
Just recently, I was visiting Dr. Graham on his farm here in Costa Rica and I told him of my mango allergy. He encouraged me to try them again, but only very ripe, organic ones and to make sure not to eat too much or let them touch my lips for long.
I tried that and now I'm eating them regularly. My son says watching me eat one is like watching a two year old. I savor them with such glee.
