Greece=a foraging raw vegan's paradise
I truly enjoyed Greece. Loquats are in season right now and they're delicious. Also, there are fruit and nut trees planted all over the place. In the National Park of Athens, I foraged some loquats, oranges and even some early figs, although they weren't ripe enough. I wish I could be here for the real season of figs. There are also many cactii, pistachios, walnuts and other more temperate fruit trees as well. The smell of the orange blossoms all throughout the park is amazing! I will add pictures when I have better access to the internet. Ciao for now.
