About Me

My photo
My life's purpose is best described by: Be the change you want to see in the world: Gandhi. Smiling is my "botox"-FORGET THE DRUGS AND SURGERY. I spice up my life, not my diet, which is SIMPLY DELICIOUS on its own. KISS: I Keep it simple sugars-from whole, fresh, ripe, raw, organic fruits (veggies, some nuts/seeds too). The 811rv motto is: simplicity at mealtime, variety throughout the year. My motto is: I live in my own little world, but it's ok they all know me there. At some point, you have to realize that some people can stay in your heart, but not in your life.

Pictures of our trip

1)My Dad by the river Jordan, Israel.
2)Ancient carving of the important foods of pomegranate, dates(the real honey as referred to in the Bible), figs, grapes, olives(which intelligently were only used for lamp oil in ancient times), wheat and barley (whose agriculture sadly continues the desertification and arable land destruction to this day).
3)4)Sea of Galilee, Israel.
5)Ruins of Galilee, Israel.
6)Sphynx, Cairo Egypt.
7)The unplanned, surprising camel ride-the long story to be told in person if I ever get the chance to meet you, Cairo Egypt.

Thanks Sarah and Suzanne.

Sarah, I know you home school too, I can tell you that my son learned more on this trip than most children do in a few years of regular school. It was such a great experience for him, especially learning first hand from his grandfather about his heritage.
